Cork-France Ties at Brittany Ferries Lunch

President Toddy Stafford was honoured to represent Cobh & Harbour Chamber at the annual Brittany Ferries Lunch, a significant event hosted by the France Ireland Chamber of Commerce and Cork Chamber of Commerce. Held aboard the Pont-Aven, Brittany Ferries’ flagship, the event highlighted the strategic significance of Cork Harbour in tourism, energy, and business.

Since the launch of the Cork-Roscoff ferry route from Cork Harbour in 1972 by Brittany Ferries, Cork has enjoyed enhanced connectivity with France. Ongoing collaboration between the Chambers will continue to foster sustainable business development, benefiting both nations, and the development of the Celtic Interconnector will further strengthen this relationship by enhancing energy security, reducing carbon emissions, and promoting cross-border energy cooperation.
