Cobh & Harbour Chamber successfully hosted its November Business Breakfast in association with the Port of Cork Company on Friday, 21 November 2025, at the Cobh Heritage Centre. The event brought together business leaders and stakeholders from across the harbour region for a morning of networking, discussion and strategic insight.
A key highlight of the event was a keynote address delivered by Ann Doherty, Chief Executive of the Port of Cork Company. Ms. Doherty provided an engaging overview of current and future port developments, outlined opportunities for local enterprise, and emphasised the ongoing importance of strong collaboration between the Port of Cork and the Cobh & Harbour business community.
During the breakfast, the Chamber also formally announced the election of its new officers for the forthcoming term:
- President: Colin R. Morehead
- Vice-President: Paul Fitzpatrick
- Outgoing President: Toddy Stafford, who was recognised for his dedicated leadership and service.
Newly elected President Colin R. Morehead said:
“It is an honour to take on the role of President of Cobh & Harbour Chamber. Our harbour community has a proud history and an exciting future, and in the year ahead we will concentrate on strengthening collaboration, driving sustainable growth and creating new opportunities that support and empower our members”
During the breakfast, the Chamber’s “spotlight” session gave members an opportunity to showcase their businesses and share recent developments. Capt. JP Kearns of Tidal Marine and Bryan Murphy of Fota House, Arboretum and Gardens took the stage, giving attendees an engaging glimpse into their expertise and achievements.
The Business Breakfast also offered attendees valuable opportunities to meet fellow business owners, exchange ideas, and engage directly with decision-makers from the Port of Cork Company.
