Cobh & Harbour Chamber is delighted to announce Mr Michael McGrath TD, Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform as the guest speaker for the March Business Breakfast.

As Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, Mr McGrath is responsible for delivering well-managed and well-targeted public spending, through modernised, effective and accountable public services. The department oversees the implementation of the National Development Plan, drives the programme of public service reform, and has a key role in decisions made across government.

In his time in the Dáil, Minister McGrath has served on a number of Oireachtas committees including the Finance Committee, the Oireachtas Banking Inquiry, the European Affairs Committee and the Public Accounts Committee, as well as still being a TD in the Cork South Central area

At a time of vital and continuous change for Cobh town & the entire harbour area, the Minister will speak to Chamber members and guests on Thursday 4th March about the main key areas of interest locally including the public realm project, the upgrade of the national road, the broadband rollout plan and the potential around the wind energy project in the harbour area.
