December Business Breakfast in association with Port of Cork

We are delighted to welcome Conor Mowlds, Chief Commercial Officer, and Tim Murphy, Port of Cork’s Head of Engineering as our guest speakers for our October Business Breakfast. 

The Port of Cork is at the beginning of an exciting new chapter on its river-to-sea port journey as they seek to meet the next phase for the needs of our community. As they look forward towards a vision for 2050 and the huge potential for our beautiful harbour to continue its role as a focal point for our community to live in and enjoy, as well as a key gateway for global trade and enabler of Net Zero.

POCC is currently developing a Masterplan for 2050, which will act as a blueprint for growth and development over the next number of years toward meeting Ireland’s future port capacity requirements.

Tim is a Chartered Civil Engineer and the newly appointed Head of Engineering with the Port of Cork Company.  He joined in 2015 following a 20-year career in the contracting industry, with particular experience in delivering large civil and marine infrastructural projects.
