The Cobh & Harbour Chamber were delighted to organise an informal visit of the Lord Mayor of Cork, Councillor Joe Kavanagh and the Lady Mayoress Stephanie to Cobh on Friday 21st August. The Lord Mayor a native of Cobh spent a very enjoyable day in Cobh. The tour started at Bellvely Castle with a tour of the castle. The sonic coast road route was taken to Cobh where Mayor Kavanagh and a visited the Cobh Marina and Cobh Heritage Centre. The Lord Mayor also meet with Chairman of Cobh Tidy Towns and Cobh Tourism. There was a stroll around the Promenade, meeting with locals at the Farmers market. The visit concluded with a lunch at The Commodore Hotel. The Lord Mayor, presented Cobh & Harbour Chamber a plaque when he meet with the staff and visited the Chamber offices.
