Cobh and Harbour Chamber are delighted to announce Johanna Murphy as their new President. Johanna was presented with the chain of office, at the recent AGM by out-going President Michael McCormack, who wished her well in her new role. Johanna thanked the members for electing and placing their trust in her. She is looking forward to working with newly elected Vice President John Gately, Treasurer John Sweeney, Honorary Secretary Cormac MacCoitir and the expanded Chamber Council. For now efforts will be concentrated on ensuring Cobh is looking its best in the run up to Christmas with a new and exciting lighting display planned for the town centre, combined with a “Shop Local” campaign and associated promotions.
