Welcome to Cobh!
Cobh welcomed Sinn Fein’s First Minister (Designate) Michelle O’Neill when she paid a courtesy visit to Cobh. She was greeted by President Johanna Murphy and members of the Chamber Council. The Cobh Animation Team also greeted the Minister, who was accompanied by East Cork TD Pat Buckly, this was her first visit to Cobh.
The President briefed the Minister on tourism and local development initiatives, before escorting her party on a whistle-stop tour of the town centre, where she was introduced to and briefed by representatives from Fortress Spike Island, Cork, Cobh Tourism, Cobh Tidy Towns, Titanic Experience Cobh, Commodore Hotel and Cobh Heritage Centre.
