Harbour Connections at RCYC

Our members and guests enjoyed a wonderful evening yesterday at our networking event sponsored by Simply Blue Group. The event opened with a warm welcome from Colin Morehead and Brian Fitzgerald at the Royal Cork Yacht Club. It provided our members and guests with a valuable opportunity to enhance their connections within our beautiful harbour.

Commenting at the event, our newly appointed Vice President CoIin Morehead (Past Admiral of the Royal Cork Yacht Club) said: “it is great therefore to be standing this evening in an institution that has been part of the fabric of this harbour for the last 303 years to continue what others have done before us ….to meet, exchange ideas, explore possibilities……” Commenting on the EPA’s report issued this week which stated that Ireland was projected to fall well short of climate targets, Colin said “As a business community we can no longer ignore what is happening around us, we can make a difference and need to engage today. “
