Letterkenny President’s Lunch

Letterkenny President’s Lunch

President Toddy was honoured to be invited by the Letterkenny Chamber of Commerce to attend their President’s Lunch with keynote speaker Mary Lou McDonald. As the President’s first official engagement, it was a great opportunity to meet fellow members of the Chamber of Commerce. Toddy is pictured here with Letterkenny President Fionnuala Rabbitt  and Londonderry’s Chamber President Selina Horshi.

Toddy said, ”It was a privilege and pleasure to attend the Letterkenny Chamber business lunch, even though our Chambers are at the Northern and Southern extremes of the country we have by strange coincidence the same serious common concerns and essential needs. The clear message from the Letterkenny Chamber is the urgent need for a new A4 Belfast to Donegal road and serious investment in Donegal ports to ensure readiness and capability to provide for offshore wind energy development. The clear message from Cobh and Harbour Chamber is the need for a new R624 Cobh road and also for serious port investment to provide for the southern offshore wind energy infrastructure requirements. This demonstrates that Chambers is truly on message and working for the betterment of not just themselves but the common good of the whole country.”
