Budget ’24
On Tuesday, Michael McGrath TD delivered his first Budget as Minister for Finance. Offering insights on Budget24, Toddy Stafford, President of Cobh & Harbour Chamber, noted, “Today’s budget distinctly prioritises households and families.”
President Stafford welcomed the €250m fund for small businesses as this will likely target many of the businesses most affected by the increases in regulatory burdens that are expected in 2024. He continued by confirming his strong support for the increased funding for infrastructure and transport infrastructure in particular and hopes the announcement will have a positive impact on the long-awaited infrastructure projects so vital to the continued growth of our members businesses.
