Les Clefs d’Or Ireland
The President of the Chamber was honoured to serve as a guest speaker at the recent provincial meeting of Les Clefs d’Or Ireland held at Fota Island Resort.
This distinguished gathering brought together members of the professional association of hotel concierges, recognised by the golden keys on their lapels. It provided a platform to spotlight the Cobh and Harbour Chamber, emphasising its significance, especially in promoting the tourism attractions of the region.
In addressing the audience, President Toddy Stafford emphasised the pivotal role of the tourism and hospitality industry in the local, national, and global economy. Last year, tourism contributed nearly 10 billion to Ireland’s economy, with optimistic projections for further growth this year.
A special thank you to Le Clef d’Or Concierge John Coleman of Fota Island Resort for his personal invitation to the Cobh and Harbour Chamber.
