Lusitania Commemoration
Cobh & Harbour Chamber attended the Lusitania Commemoration Ceremony organised by Cobh Tourism to mark the 108th anniversary of the sinking of the Lusitania off the Old Head of Kinsale.
At the Lusitania Peace Memorial in Casement Square a ceremony was held with prayers and musical honours by the Commodore Male Voice Choir. With further ceremonies held in the Old Church Cemetery where 170 of the victims were laid to rest in three Mass and a number of individual plots.
